Eagles Win 12 Events To Defeat Titans

Dalton Anderson won the 100-yard butterfly for UW-Oshkosh's lone victory in a 137-85 loss at UW-La Crosse on Saturday (Jan. 11).

Anderson captured his event in 50.78, topping second-place David Flickinger by more than two seconds. Fellow Titan Evan DuVall placed third with a time of 1:06.95.

Zach Hogan posted a pair of second-place results for UW-Oshkosh. He clocked times of 58.79 in the 100-yard backstroke and 1:56.09 in the 200-yard freestyle.

Other runner-up finishes came from Anderson in the 1,000-yard freestyle at 11:05.91, Cole Becker in the 200-yard individual medley at 2:27.13 and Jacob Casper in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:06.10.

The Titans came in second during both the 200-yard medley relay at 1:50.45 and the 400-yard freestyle relay at 3:24.77.

In the 100-yard freestyle, Patrick Keleny listed second at 51.38 and Brian Stoffel followed in third at 53.52. UW-Oshkosh then had Andrew Bores place second (5:42.43) and Nick Baus third (5:59.25) in the 500-yard freestyle.

Sam Green twice finished in third place, scoring times of 1:01.72 in the 100-yard backstroke and 11:09.07 in the 1,000-yard freestyle.

The Titans host the UW-Oshkosh Swimming Invitational next week (Jan. 18) in Albee Hall.
