Pioneers Post Road Victory In Oshkosh

Tom Herrick captured both diving events as Carroll University topped the UW-Oshkosh men's swimming & diving team, 139-89, on Saturday (Oct. 26) in Albee Hall.

Herrick won the three-meter competition with a score of 170.45 and the one-meter event with a 158.40. Zach Seelman placed second in both dives with marks of 152.95 at one meter and 143.70 at three.

Dalton Anderson was the other victorious Titan. Anderson clocked a 51.31 to take the 100-yard butterfly race.

UW-Oshkosh finished second in both relays. The 200-yard freestyle group of Anderson, Nick Baus, Sam Green and Brian Stoffel touched the wall in 1:35.67. Anderson then joined Lawrence Crement, Evan DuVall and Zach Hogan for a 1:46.50 in the 200-yard medley relay.

Second-place finishes came from Green in the 1,000-yard freestyle at 11:22.20 and Hogan in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:56.47.

Also claiming runner-up scores were Andrew Bores in the 100-yard freestyle (52.31), Nelson Figueroa in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.78) and Brian Stoffel in the 50-yard freestyle (24.10).

The Titans return to Albee Hall on Nov. 2 for a meet against Beloit College.
