Bio

Casey Korn is in his third season as the top assistant of the UW-Oshkosh men's basketball team.

Korn has helped guide UW-Oshkosh to a 49-12 record and two appearances in the NCAA Division III Championship, including the program’s first national title in 2019.

Last season Korn and the Titans compiled a 20-9 record and reached the second round of the national tournament after winning the conference postseason title.

During Korn’s debut season with UW-Oshkosh in 2019, the Titans secured the Division III title and finished with a 29-3 record.

Korn came to UW-Oshkosh from Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton, Mo., where he served as the head varsity coach in both boys basketball and boys golf for three seasons.

Korn was previously the head varsity coach in both boys basketball and boys golf at St. Clair High School in St. Clair, Mo., from 2012-15 and the head varsity boys basketball coach at Calamus Wheatland High School in Wheatland, Iowa., from 2009-12. In 2010, Korn coached Calamus Wheatland to a 22-6 record and an appearance in the Class 1A state championship game.

Korn and UW-Oshkosh men’s basketball head coach Matt Lewis reunited with the Titans nine years after teaming up on the Cornell College (Iowa) men's basketball team. Korn played for the Rams during the 2006 and 2007 seasons before serving as a student assistant coach for the school in 2008 and 2009. Lewis played basketball for Cornell College from 2007-10.

Korn also was a four-year member of the Cornell College baseball team. He earned All-American Rivers Conference honors twice, including the 2009 season when he collected First Team recognition.

Korn is a 2005 graduate of Northwest High School in Cedar Hill, Mo. He graduated from Cornell College in 2009 with a double major in Economics/Business and Secondary Education and a minor in American History. Korn earned a master's degree in Athletic Administration from Concordia University Nebraska this past July.
