Radavich Named WIAC Football Athlete Of The Week

The WIAC chose UW-Oshkosh's Kyle Radavich as its Football Offensive Athlete of the Week for games played Sept. 24-30. It is the second award of the season for Radavich, who was also earned recognition for the period of Sept. 10-16.

Radavich threw for a career-high 300 yards and five touchdowns in just more than three quarters of action as UW-Oshkosh opened WIAC play with a 48-14 victory at UW-River Falls on Sept. 29.

Radavich's third career start included scoring strikes of 56 and 27 yards to Riley Kallas in the first quarter, 13 yards to Dom Todarello in the second, 37 yards to Mitchell Gerend in the third and 57 yards to Todarello in the fourth.

Radavich, who went into the contest with 252 passing yards and one touchdown pass on the season, completed 15 of 25 passes before exiting with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Radavich's five touchdown passes are tied for third most in a game during UW-Oshkosh's 124-year history.

The WIAC also presented weekly awards to UW-Stout strong safety Jed Schlegel on defense and UW-Platteville punter Connor Foley on special teams.
