Time Warner Cable To Televise UW-Oshkosh, UW-Whitewater Football Game

Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will televise a matchup between nationally ranked WIAC football opponents to a regional audience when UW-Oshkosh hosts UW-Whitewater on Saturday (Oct. 10) at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

The broadcast time for the first-place battle in the WIAC is 1 p.m. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m.

UW-Whitewater (4-0, 1-0 WIAC), the two-time defending NCAA Division III champion, is the top-ranked team in the country by D3football.com. The Warhawks have won their last 36 games for the longest current streak in all of college football. UW-Whitewater's last defeat was a 17-14 decision to UW-Stevens Point during the 2012 season.

UW-Oshkosh (3-1, 1-0 WIAC), ranked 15th in the nation, has won 24 of its last 29 WIAC contests, with three of the setbacks coming to the Warhawks. UW-Oshkosh recorded its last win (28-13) over UW-Whitewater during the 2012 season when the Titans captured the WIAC title and advanced to the semifinal round of the NCAA Division III Championship.

Saturday's game is the 107th meeting, including the fourth in the last five seasons in which both teams were nationally ranked in the top 20. The Warhawks own a 74-27-5 record in a series that began in 1897.

The contest will be available on channel 32/1332 HD of the Time Warner Cable systems in Northeastern and Southeastern Wisconsin. The telecast will also be available in the Madison area through Charter Communications channel 14 and over-the-air channel 3.1.

Bob Brainerd is doing the play-by-play and Greg Voeller the color commentary for the telecast.
