Brahier Named WIAC Baseball Position Player Of The Week

The WIAC named UW-Oshkosh first baseman Andy Brahier as its Baseball Position Player of the Week for games played April 16-22.

Brahier hit .474 (9-19) with one home run, three doubles, nine runs batted in and seven runs scored as UW-Oshkosh swept a four-game series against UW-Platteville.

Brahier hit safely in all four contests and recorded percentages of .789 for slugging and .522 for on-base.

During UW-Oshkosh's 16-12 victory over UW-Platteville on April 22, Brahier went 4-for-6 with one home run, one double, five runs batted in and two runs scored. His seventh-inning home run tied the score for the Titans at 10.

Brahier also went 2-for-3 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored during UW-Oshkosh's 9-0 win over UW-Platteville on April 21 and 2-for-6 with one double, three runs scored and two runs batted in during the Titans' 15-10 victory over the Pioneers on April 22.

UW-Stevens Point's Nathan Mulzer was chosen as the WIAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
