UW-Oshkosh (22-14) held leads of 5-0 after three innings and 6-0 after five.

Edgewood College (19-17) outhit the Titans, 8-7, but six Eagles pitchers combined to issue 10 walks.

Paulson opened the bottom of the first inning with a walk and a pair of stolen bases before scoring the game's first run on a sacrifice fly by Andy Brahier. Paulson also walked, stole second base and scored in the third inning before walking in the fourth, singling during the sixth and walking again in the eighth.

The Titans broke the game open with a four-run third inning. After Kozlowski doubled to score Paulson with the eventual game-winning run, Eagan followed with a double that scored Kozlowski for a 3-0 UW-Oshkosh advantage. Alex Koch then drove home Eagan with a single, and Zack Radde produced a run-scoring groundout, all against Edgewood College starting pitcher Mason Maziarka.

Maziarka (2-3) suffered the loss for the Eagles, surrendering five runs on three hits and six walks in 2.2 innings pitched.

The Titans increased their lead to 6-0 on a run-scoring groundout from Radde in the fifth inning before the Eagles avoided being shut out for the third time this season by scoring a run in the top of the eighth. Nick Cheaney drove in the lone Edgewood College run with a groundout that scored pinch-runner Ryan Cassady.

Danny Appino led Edgewood College with two hits.
