Kozlowski Selected WIAC Baseball Position Player Of The Week

The WIAC has named UW-Oshkosh third baseman Tyler Kozlowski as its Baseball Position Player of the Week for games played April 17-23.

Kozlowski hit .526 (10-19) with three doubles, one triple, seven runs scored and 10 runs batted in as UW-Oshkosh compiled a 4-1 record during a road game at Benedictine University (Ill.) and four home contests against UW-Platteville.

Kozlowski hit safely in all five games and produced percentages of .789 for slugging and .600 for on-base. He handled all 14 of his fielding opportunities without an error while extending his hitting streak to a season-best eight games.

Kozlowski went 6-for-9 at the plate with two doubles, one triple and nine runs batted in during UW-Oshkosh's doubleheader sweep of UW-Platteville on April 23. He tallied four hits and four runs batted in during the Titans' 13-4 victory in the opener and two hits and five runs batted in during UW-Oshkosh's 11-1 win in the nightcap.

Kozlowski also went 2-for-4 with two runs scored during UW-Oshkosh's 8-0 triumph over UW-Platteville on April 22.

UW-Steven Point pitcher Cole Erickson was chosen as the WIAC Position Player of the Week.
