Pavlovich Named WIAC Pitcher Of The Week

The WIAC has selected UW-Oshkosh's Joe Pavlovich as its Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The award was for games played March 24-30.

Pavlovich pitched eight shutout innings to earn the win during UW-Oshkosh's 11-0 victory over Thomas College (Maine) on March 27.

Aided by double plays in the seventh and eighth innings, Pavlovich faced only 27 batters, three over the minimum. The right-hander retired the first 12 Terriers before yielding an infield single to open the fifth inning. Pavlovich finished his service with seven strikeouts and one walk.

Infielder Jared Fon of UW-Whitewater was chosen as the WIAC Position Player of the Week.
