Our goal is to ensure all wrestlers, coaches, staff, fans and families enjoy a weekend filled with great wrestling, and beautiful sites. Berglund Center (LINK)
The Berglund Center continues to be Virginia's Blue Ridge premiere full-service facility with a 10,500 seat Coliseum, 2,151 seat Performing Arts Theatre, 14,000 square foot Exhibit Hall, and a new 46,000 square feet Special Events Center. The 2023 NCAA Div. III Wrestling Championships will be held in the coliseum. Major trade shows, convention and consumer shows, and meetings and banquets have all discovered that the Berglund Center can provide all the amenities needed to create a successful event. Live entertainment, including sporting events and cultural and concert performances by some of the biggest names in the world, continues to excite and amuse audiences all year long.

General Ticket Sales: purchase tickets
Tickets may be purchased online at The Berglund Center website. Alumni and any other special interest groups should use the group sales link above, or contact Tanya Donald directly at (540) 853-5373 or Tanya.Donald@roanokeva.gov.

  • Adult & Seniors: single session $15, all-session $50
  • Student & Youth: single session $12, all-session $42
  • Group Adults/Senior (10 or more): all-session $34
  • Group Students/Youth (10 or more): all-session $26

Media Credentials Application (LINK)
Members of the media and sports information directors, make your request for credentials at this link. Requests will be reviewed as they arrive. Appropriate media/SID credentials will be issued upon arrival at the Berglund Center for the NCAA Tournament, and must be presented when entering the facility throughout. We will have media tables set up on the main coliseum floor adjacent to the mats, as well as a media work room and interview space just off the floor. Please contact Ferrum Assistant SID Benton Heck at bhheck@ferrum.edu with questions or special needs.

Tournament Schedule
Friday, March 10, Session I
9:00 am: Doors open for spectators
11:00 am: Preliminary round one, championship round one and prelim consolation (6 mats)
3:00 pm: Berglund Center closes at conclusion of last match (time approximate)

Friday, March 10, Session II
4:30 pm: Doors open for spectators
4:45 pm: Special Olympics Ceremony
6:00 pm: Championship quarterfinals (3 mats), first and second rounds of consolation (3 mats, then all 6 mats when available)
10:00 pm: Session II ends (time approximate)

Saturday, March 11: Session III
9:00 am: Doors open for spectators
10:00 am: Championship semifinals (2 mats), Consolation quarterfinals (2 mats), Consolation semifinals (2 mats), Consolation place matches: 3rd, 5th, 7th (3 mats)
3:00 pm: Session III ends (time approximate)

Saturday, March 11, Session IV
5:30 pm: Doors open for spectators
6:15 pm: Lineup of All-Americans
6:30 pm: Parade of All-Americans
7:00 pm: Championship finals (1 mat)
9:00 pm: Awards presentation immediately following completion of all wrestling for team awards and final two matches. Individual weight class awards will be presented between finals matches.

Action photography for the NCAA Tournament will be available through Brian Bishop with Patriot Images. Photos are for sale to schools and parents/families. Brian has worked occasionally in the past with d3photography.com and can help with all your action photography needs. Ferrum College will also have limited action photography available through a Google Drive folder, to be shared directly with Athletic Communications professionals at schools with athletes in the NCAA Tournament.
