Softball, Haylie Wittman

Rhyme and University Books & More are pleased to announce that Haylie Wittman (So. • Kaukauna) of the softball team has been named the UW-Oshkosh Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of April 8-14.

Wittman hit .583 (7-of-12) with four runs, nine RBIs, a double and two home runs against Marian University and UW-La Crosse last week with a slugging percentage of 1.167. She notched at least a hit and an RBI in each of the four games. In consecutive at-bats in the first game against the Eagles on April 13, she hit a two-run home run and an RBI single before repeating the feat in the second game with a three-run home run and an RBI double.

Each week throughout the 2023-24 academic year, one male and one female UW-Oshkosh student-athlete are recognized for their accomplishments from the previous week. The award winners will be announced on the UW-Oshkosh athletics website every Monday.
